About Anthony
I am a business builder. The worksite taught me how to build.
I came to AI carrying practical intelligence, a long working life, a voice and a method shaped where preparation, judgement and responsibility were visible every day.
The foundation
The intelligence was already there. Voice gave it a way through.
For about 25 years, most of my working life was construction painting across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast—commercial work, high-rises and exposed outside access. I worked from crane-lifted dog boxes, on swinging stages and in large boom lifts, and as a foreman for other companies.
That work taught me preparation, judgement, sequencing, responsibility and how to inspect a finish honestly. When voice-led AI gave me a way through the interface barrier, those habits crossed over into books, products, business planning, research and connected systems.
The worksite taught me to prepare, act, inspect and correct. That method now drives everything I build.
What I am building now
Anthony Philips AI is the public face of a growing body of work: writing, practical products, operator systems and AI services for ordinary people, tradies and small business. Philips Family Holdings Pty Ltd gives that work a legal home.
A private continuity system keeps facts, sources, decisions and handoffs organised so future authorised AI assistance can continue with the right context.
A working life in Australia
Anthony arrived in Brisbane in July 1988. His later trade career was in Australia, with most of it in construction and commercial painting.
Moved into a new field
Leaving full-time painting opened a deliberate move into AI, writing and business.
The serious daily build began
Voice-led work moved from experimentation into a sustained operating practice with real outputs and preserved methods.
The company was registered
Philips Family Holdings Pty Ltd was registered, with Anthony Philips AI as the public-facing identity.
The journey remains open
Books, products, connected machines, family collaboration and public work are being built as infrastructure for an ongoing company and a legacy.
